Tony Zhu

Tony Zhu is a Founding Member at Reya Group and serves on Reya’s Management Board as Senior Project Manager. Over his 6 years as a change management expert, he has managed some of the most extensive and successful culture change programs in China. At Reya, Tony is responsible for client services, leading project teams, research design, and research collection.

Tony grew up in a town named Yu Yao in Zhe Jiang Province but moved 300KM to Shanghai for his studies at Shanghai International Studies University. He graduated with a bachelor degree in English Literature with a minor in International Journalism from Fu Dan University. During his leisure time, Tony enjoys competing at a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, table tennis, and snooker. He also keeps himself busy by reading books including philosophy, novels, and ancient Chinese classics.

Reya is in the business of building healthy and productive communities. This often means we help our clients to facilitate change by focusing on things like building culture and behaviors, and aligning process and systems.

In the past 8 years, I have had the privilege of working with over a dozen companies that lead their respective industries. We’ve been through projects on culture transformation, mergers and acquisitions, employer brand building, employee engagement and communications, and other initiatives that have impacted thousands of employees. One similarity of those projects is it all involves some sort of change. Whether it is culture/behavior change, or ways of communications change, or even structural change, the lessons we’ve learned share this common theme.
